Understanding the differences
These procedures are not interchangeable. Discuss procedure-specific complications and nutritional follow-up. Gastric botulinum toxin injection has uncertain weight-loss evidence and reported serious complications, including botulism. It is not presented as equivalent to established bariatric surgery.
